so very true

April 26, 2012

what's in a name?

not much in this case.

I love the blog title of Our Happily Ever After.
It does describe how I feel about my life.

It's wonderful, all that I hoped it would be.
I married my Prince Charming and had a princess and a prince.

The best part is that I didn't have to kiss a frog to get all this.

Unless you count all the ex-boyfriends as frogs.
(As far as I know, they don't read this so I should be safe in saying that)

But I've found that most of my writing on this blog is about me.
My likes, dislikes, what I bought, baked, sewed, crafted, or read.

So without further blabbing, I will change the title back to Neisha's Notes.

what we've been up to

  • the kids decorated their pumpkins today

  • we are loving this warm fall weather! all the windows open, a nice breeze; it encourages us to get out and bike and roller blade
  • I didn't get a picture but the kids tonight were playing golf with baseballs...what ever works I guess
  • Kylie is in gymnastics, this is her first time and she is loving it!
  • Nolan's karate class got canceled so I need to sign him up again. He's very excited to get started
  • I finally got fall and Halloween decorations out, I've been a bit lazy this year
  • the kids and I are thinking hard on our costumes this year. I'm getting excited to reveal mine
  • there have not been enough hours in the days lately, I have been so busy trying to get things done and I haven't even started outside yet. My flower beds are screaming for help!
  • Justin is out bow hunting every chance he gets. He hasn't gotten anything yet but we have our fingers crossed. We live off of a lot of venison and this year we hope to grind a lot of it for ground venison
  • I've been volunteering in the kids classrooms on Mondays. There are years when you feel like you're a big help to the teacher but this year isn't one of them for me. I feel like an extra. Nolan has 2 teachers plus a student teacher and Kylie has her teacher plus a student teacher. Oh well, at least I get to see my kids in action
  • I whipped up a couple more skirts and need to get pictures up of them. I have a list of more fun things I want to try but it may be awhile before I have any free time
