Justin has to keep busy. So he always needs a project to do if we are home on the weekend. This one has been mentioned once or twice since we moved in 6 years ago. I'm glad he finally decided to do it.

Pig-sty bedrooms really bug me but it's like something changed in me and I don't care anymore. My kids are old enough to clean their rooms, if they don't want to then they can deal with their mess. I guess that's why they have doors that I can just shut.

new living room curtains

I finally bought new curtains/panels for the living room. I really like them, they are a ecru color with brown and blue stripes. But I had a hard time getting a good picture because of the lighting.

onto the bathroom

Everyone was so helpful with my bedroom window that I'm going to ask for your help again for my bathroom windows. As you can see, one wall is white, the other red. I want a curtain to cover the windows but I'm not sure what color. Should one be white and the other black/red or should they be the same? My shower curtain is white with 3 black stripes. the colors are red/white/black in the bathroom. Suggestions....

"why?" you ask. Because he did this for me (finally).

He complained the whole time and I told him that if it was too much a pain in the butt then to just forget it but no he finished it. Our walls are textured so thick that you could cut yourself if you weren't careful. No, I don't like textured walls but I don't get a say in it. Anyway, that's done now onto hanging up my shelves.

Lately I've been trying to make the bed every day. I usually just pull up the covers but really it does look nice when the bed is made and I have all the necessary pillows up. You know, the shams and then the accent pillow. I only have one but am looking for one if not two more for the bed. Is there anything that you are trying to change about what you do around the house?



And that brings me to this problem. I need something on our bedroom window and I'd like advise as to what I should put up. Also what color, short/long and type of curtain. As you can see, we have two red walls and then 2 white walls. The desk will eventually be removed. Tell me what you think....
